During the last few months of the 2014-2015 academic year, I had the pleasure of making the acquaintance of Jo Rose, the Assistant Principal for Inclusion at St. Gregory the Great School, a Catholic school in Oxford, United Kingdom. We had the opportunity to exchange some information about our respective schools, and I was able to send a package of SGGA gear from our school to our new friends in Oxford. Here are some photos that Ms. Rose sent to me of the students in Oxford enjoying our gear:
Ms. Rose told me that there is a package from SGG Oxford that will be arriving here at some point in the near future. I look forward to sharing its contents with our students once it arrives. We will also be working on some letters to our friends in Oxford once our school year begins!
There is a very nice prayer on St. Gregory the Great School's website that I think is a nice way to join our new friends our Catholic faith. The prayer is as follows:
Lord God, bless our school and direct us as we set a path for the future
May we build on all the love and giving of families and staff from the past
May we face the challenge of the future guided by your Holy Spirit
May we continue striving to build your Kingdom as true disciples of Jesus your Son in whose name we make this prayer.
