Can it be? Can September really be two-thirds over already? As hard as it is to believe, our school year is just about three weeks old already. This week I have been making a special effort to visit classrooms and see how everyone is settling in to their new grades. Visiting classrooms and seeing students engaged in learning is one of the most important (and my favorite) aspects of being the principal. After all, without students there is no Academy!
Happily, I saw many good things during my rounds today: Students learning the nuances of quantitative and qualitative inquiry in Grade 8 Science, students learning how they made a mistake and how not to repeat it in Grade 5 Math, and a good deal of singing in Kindergarten!
How blessed am I to have the opportunity to come to SGGA each day! Thank you for partnering with us!
